Estée Lalonde: Away with Ayla in Portofino
Style and Beauty guru, Estée Lalonde has a hit Youtube channel, a gorgeous line with Daisy jewellery, and is the host of podcast On the Line. This September she took her Ayla bikini to the Italian coast to soak up some late summer sun. We asked her to share some of her favourite finds and it's safe to say Portofino will be high on our list for next Summer!
Here are Estée's tips on where to sample the best of life on the Italian Riviera.

For a lazy day sunbathing on the Italian Riviera.. There are so many gorgeous beaches in Portofino as well as in the surrounding area. Portofino is an incredibly expensive part of Italy so I would suggest going to one of the free public beaches which are just as gorgeous in their own way!

If I had to choose one beach it would be the beach located under Hotel Piccolo or Pariggi Beach which is one of the most stunning places I've ever seen (paid beach).
Nearby town Camogli has another glorious public beach and it's just a short train ride away from Portofino.

For a quick and delicious lunch on the go.. For lunch we mostly ate focaccia (the local specialty) and gelato for dessert! You can find this all over the town.
For a pre-pasta drink.. All along the harbour there are lots of places to grab a drink. I highly recommend a peach bellini! They might cost 20 euros (I was not joking when I said it was expensive in Portofino) but they are huge and delicious!
For a dinner that makes your Italian dreams come true.. My favourite restaurant for great food at a reasonable price was El Portico. The gnocchi with pasta was life changing.
To finish off a perfect day.. Try the dark chocolate gelato. I have thought about it every single day since I left.
